A political group, the Abako women forum comprising of women from Apoi, Bassan, Koluama and Olodiama clan in Southern Ijaw Constituency 4 has hailed High Chief MacDonald Agbadiwei for his robust legislative contribution on the floor of the House and effective representation of his constituent.
The women who gave the commendation at the Assembly Complex in Yenagoa while speaking to newsmen shortly after a solidarity visit to the lawmaker, noted that they are very happy with the Chief Agbadiwei’s achievement within this short period of time.
President of Abako Women Forum, Mrs Leah Amara said the purpose of the visit is to familiarize, encourage as well as inform the lawmaker of their challenges, saying that the women of the constituency are solidly behind the parliamentarian.
Amara described Chief Agbadiwei a father, husband, a friend, a loving and pragmatic leader who is committed to putting smiles on the faces of his constituent and expressed the believe that the parliamentarian will not disappoint the people.
She urged other women from the constituent to give their total support to the lawmaker as he is poised to carry them along in the scheme of things.
The Abako Women Forum President enjoined the youths of the constituency to shun violence and other vices that might endanger their future and called on them to take their academics seriously to be better citizens.
