Ex- Agitator and Bayelsa state Co-ordinator of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, self style- claimed Gen.Abiri Stanley, known as Faceless, has pledged with all stakeholders in Niger Delta region to sheath their swords and stop the pull down syndrome against the Administrator of the programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro.
He said that it was disheartening to note the deliberate distraction of Dr. Otuaro, efforts in running the activities of the programme.
He made the remarks while speaking to newsmen on the PAP Transformative Agenda of Dr. Otuaro, in yenagoa, the state capital.
According to Gen. Abiri, since Dr. Otuaro came on board barely a year ago, he has demonstrated resilience, focus and re-positioning of the programme, inspite of negative media attacks and distractions from certain quarters.
The ex- agitator, who is also the Chairman and Co-ordinator of AbiriBobo Security Network, maintained that, the ochrastrated attacks against Dr Otuaro, is not necessary and it would not do anybody any good, rather it would slow down the pace of development in the region
He further stated that, Dr Otuaro, is pursuing the activities of PAP, with fairness, transparency and unwavering resolve to achieve set up goals to all beneficiaries. Therefore , urged the PAP Administrator to remain steadfast and not to be swayed by the by mob who wants to pull him down.
He also enjoined youth in the region to always channel their grievances through dialogue, adding that, they should not equally allow themselves to be used to destroy or blow up pipelines and that it would affect the environment. Stressing that, all hands must be on deck to support him to succeed.
He commanded President Bola Tinubu, for the confidence reposed on Dr. Otuaro, in running the programme in line Renewed Hope Agenda and Mr. Nuhu Ribadu , for his collaborative efforts , assuring that with Otuaro, the youth would stand by him,come 2027 general election.
