Senator Konbowei Benson attends burial of late Prophetess Daughter Wilson Gideon Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on South-South Development Commission, Senator Konbowei Benson, in company of his wife, Dcns Ayibapreye Konbowei Benson attended the burial ceremony of late Prophetess Daughter Wilson Gideon in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state. The deceased who is elder sister to Pastor Reuben Wilson and a relative of Senator Konbowei Benson died at the age of 59. While speaking, Konbowei noted that the death was a painful one and not one that called for fanfare as she died below the age of 60. He condoled with the family, friends and the entire Koluama clan over the demise of a virtuous woman in her prime. Also present at the event was Chief David Lyon, High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei, Mr. Paul Eris aka Ogun Boss, Mr. Biewari Tonyekiri, men of the clergy including Pst. Walter Okoni of City of Zuph and other important dignitaries.

President of Azikel Group, Dr. Azibapu Eruani CFR has called on Muslim faithful to continue to make sacrifices towards the unity and progress of the nation.

He also called on adherents of the Muslim faith in Bayelsa to sustain commitments and support for the state government through sacrifice and to promote peace in their domain.

This, Dr. Eruani said in a statement by his Media Assistant, Mr. Austin Ebipade made available to journalists at the FCT, Abuja.

He reiterated the need for Muslim ummah to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice and forgiveness, while urging them to also promote peace and good neighborliness wherever they reside.

Dr. Eruani averred that there can’t be meaningful development and progress in an atmosphere devoid of peace and unity.

Noting that sacrifice is rewarding, the Azikel Chief Executive, posited that the progress made by advance nations in technology and economic growth cannot be divested from sacrifices made by its citizens.

Amidst the economic reality, Dr. Eruani enjoined Nigerians to keep faith alive and be hopeful on the heels that the only constant thing in life is change.
Said he “ongoing reforms by the federal government is geared to reposition the nation on the path of growth and progress” while advocating for patience which is a virtue.

According to him, while celebrating, Muslim faithful should use the festive to also make supplication for the nation, as well as leaders both in the public and private sector, who are drivers of the Nigeria economy.

He said: ”while we continue to close the unemployment gap in-country, create sustainable wealth for Nigerians, the Azikel Hydro-skimming refinery would continue to support the Federal government in providing sustainable energy security for the nation.”

To this end, Dr. Eruani enjoined Muslim ummah and Nigerians, as responsible and committed citizens to co-exist peacefully, shun hate speeches, work for the unity of the nation; and to extend love by sharing with their neighbhors and the needy.
