The Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District and the Chairman, Senate Committee on South South Development Commission, Senator Kombowei Benson, All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain, Chief David Lyon, 2023 APC Deputy Governorship candidate, Great Joshua Maciver and other APC stalwarts were among dignitaries that bid farewell to late Prophetess Daughter Wilson in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Late Prophetess Daughter Wilson who is the elder sister to Pastor Reuben Wilson, Member Governing Council, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and founder Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership snd Accountability, PRIFGLA died at the age of 59.
Speaking to newsmen after the burial ceremony, Senator Kombowei Benson said the death is painful that doesn’t call for celebration, considering that she died below the age of 59.
Benson condoled with the family, friends, loved ones and the entire Koluama clan over her demise, describing late Prophetess Wilson as a virtuous woman who passed on at her prime.
IHis Grace, Archbishop Dr. Ege Israel of Salvation Church of Zion, Nigeria and Overseas while delivering his sermon on “let not your jeart be troubled’ citting John 14: 1-3 admonished the children and the famiy not to be troubled about the death of their mother and sister, emphasizing that she lived a fulfilled life in the service of God.
Israel emphasized the need for the living to exhibit the love espoused in the Holy Bible, ensuring that when death comes, they would spend eternity with God in Heaven.
He noted that the deceased’s faith in being with Christ in heaven was evident in her wishes regarding her funeral arrangements.
Pastor Reuben Wilson who is a Member Governing Council, University of Uyo described his elder sister as a woman with a heart of Gold whose kindness, generosity and compassion touched countless lives.
Wilson said his late elder sister’s love, guidance and unwavering support really shaped his life, noting that her memories would ever be remembered by the family.
He appreciated everyone who supported him towards the successful burial of his late elder sister and wished them journey mercies back to their various destination.
Also speaking, the Director General Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA, Mr. Ebisinkumo Frank Soko said that though late Prophetess Daughter Wilson died at the age of 59, she fulfilled destiny.
The fourth son, Gad Gideon and the second daughter, Irene Biboye vowed to uphold the values of love, unity and unshakable faith in God as examplefied by their late mother.
